Coinbase customers can now avoid annoying waiting times for bank withdrawals

The new Coinbase update speeds up the conversion of cryptosystems to fiat.

Coinbase revealed a faster way for its customers to move their digital coins out of crypto and into their bank accounts.

The U.S.-based crypto-currency platform now allows 40 different countries to withdraw cash more quickly, Coinbase wrote in an October publication. “Clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe can withdraw funds with a linked Visa debit card,” according to the publication. “In the US, clients can also withdraw funds with their Mastercard”.

This new feature incurs an additional fee of 1.5% for its users in the US, while EU and UK participants pay a slightly higher fee of 2%.

Under normal circumstances, it takes between one and five working days for a fiat money transfer from a cryptomoney exchange to be settled in the back-end of the bank involved. This means that users must wait that period of time before they can use the cash withdrawn from the exchanges. This new Coinbase option speeds up the process when using a payment card, making funds available for instant spending.

Part of the value of Bitcoin Storm and other cryptomontages is their efficiency and transaction speed. Bitcoin, for example, doesn’t take as long as banks to transfer for later use. However, using Bitcoin sometimes requires interaction with traditional banking systems, which operate at a slower speed. With this update, Coinbase has increased the speed of this process.
